Grow onpurpose.

Simple systems for your faith, your work, and your business. Most growth isn't missing motivation. It's missing a system you'll actually keep.

My last name. My mission.

Pugh is my family's name. It's also the reason this exists. Every talk, letter, and system here comes back to four words.

PeopleGrowth is always about a person, not a program. Systems serve people, never the other way around.

Hayden Pugh · The Monthly Read No. 01

What are you training for?

Most of us could answer fast: a degree, a promotion, a race, a bigger number. We train hard for things that fade. Paul tells Timothy to train for something else: "Train yourself for godliness" (1 Timothy 4:7).

The countercultural part

Our culture says some people are just naturally spiritual. Hughes says the opposite: nobody drifts into godliness.

  • Jesus is better

Why the gospel is worth building a whole life on.
  • Ask, then ask again

What getting rejected, then hired, at the Masters taught me.
  • Systems over feelings

Habits that keep you faithful when motivation is gone.
  • Make disciples

What it looks like to walk with one person for a season.
Invite Hayden to speak

Hi, I'm Hayden.

I'm High Point University Class of 2026. I follow Jesus, and I like building systems that make good things easier to keep doing, whether that's a morning routine, a reporting process, or an app.

Pugh Systems is where I share what's working: the books, the habits, and the tools. I'm still learning all of it, and I'd rather show my work than pretend I've arrived.

I co-founded Rise with Trint Saunders, worked Merchandise Operations at the 2026 Masters, and built operations systems at Furnitureland South.

Say hello.

A question, a talk, a problem in your business, or a book I should read next. I read every email.
